On June 8th, 2010 IBISKA took part in the 7th annual Microsoft Golf Classic for Autism.
Janet Moore and Trevor Mahoney proudly represented IBISKA in support of a cause that affects so many people. Autism currently affects many children and families in the Ottawa area with around 1 in every 110 children born being diagnosed with some form of the disorder. With early diagnosis and treatment many children can improve over time and face a much brighter future. With the many challenges parents of children on the spectrum face whether emotional or financial this event strives to give these parents somewhere to turn to.
IBISKA is proud to have been a participant in this tournament and look forward to returning for the 8th annual tournament next year as this is a cause that is near and dear to all of our hearts. To the organizing committee and all the volunteers thank you for giving up your time and effort for such a worthwhile cause.
