Meet Our New Team Members

Deepak Bhalla joined IBISKA in March 2011 as IT Support Technician. Born and raised in India and Deepak moved to Ottawa in 2006. Deepak has been working in IT since 2004 and earned his IT diploma from Algonquin in 2009. When he is not in office, Deepak likes to watch movies, go out with friends.

Drew Gadoury also joined this March after working over a decade in the Ottawa tech and government sectors as a technical RFP writer and editor. Drew has an English degree from Carleton University, and was on the editorial board of the Carleton Arts Review. These days, he coaches minor hockey, plays golf, and lives with his wife and 10-year old son.

Najna Moubarak has joined our corporate development team in June of 2010. Najna grew up in Ottawa and majored in Psychology at U of O. Najna has a combined sales experience of just over six years, four of which were industry related. Najna plays recreational soccer and beach volley-ball and hopes to get her pilot’s license some day.

Trevor Mahoney has been working with us since January 2010 as a Resource Manager. He has been working in the IT consulting industry in both a sales and recruiting capacity for 5 years and prides himself on building strong long lasting relationships with both consultants and clients. Born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland Trevor moved to Ottawa in 2001. Trevor enjoys spending time with his two children, playing indoor soccer, softball and golf

Leanne Ellis recently joined us as our new Receptionist. Leanne lives life with an optimistic attitude, enjoys daily challenges and loves the outdoors! As an Ecosystem Management Technician graduate, Leanne has travelled to both coasts of North America to work on habitat restoration and public education contracts. When away from work, Leanne is busy playing outside and caring for her 15 month old son.

Brian Ahopelto joined IBISKA’s Corporate Development team in June of 2010. Brian was born in North Bay Ontario and attended Algonquin College for HR Management and continues to update his skills through part-time classes. Brian has been in the IT consulting industry for about 6 years and has combined Sales and Customer service experience of over 15 years. He is also a talented musician who has toured the country and played hundreds of shows and contributed to dozens of recordings.

Diana Braaksma – Don’t fret, Diana hasn’t left us. She is taking on a new role as Recruiting Assistant [Congratulations Diana!] & will continue to be an Alternate Company Security Officer.

Kim Sanders-Whittle re-joined IBISKA’s USA team in September 2010 as a Recruiting Associate. Kim first joined IBISKA in 2005, but left temporarily to become a stay at home mom to her son Ian. Kim is a true “California Girl”, although she saw the light and married a Canadian. Kim’s background includes everything from receptionist to international project manager in telecommunications. Watch out Canada, Kim is coming to Ottawa for a visit in July!
