IT Security:

  • In August 2010, IBISKA was selected by Defense Research Development Canada (DRDC) to provide Threat and Risk Assessment and Certification and Accreditation support to various DRDC projects. We are currently working on three projects under this contract which is in place for a period of two years with two additional option years.
  • Throughout the year, we have provided teams of experts on an on-going basis, to conduct research and develop IT Security guidance documents intended for the Government of Canada, in a broad range of technology areas (Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Operating Systems, Web 2.0, Public Zone, Smartphones, Multi-function Devices, Network Devices, etc.)
  • IBISKA has achieved supplier status for the provision of IT Security Services to the State of Washington as part of a joint bid with Qwest
  • Our IT Security Practice continues to thrive with several new projects successfully completed under the Cyber Protection Supply Arrangement (CPSA) including Threat and Risk Assessments, Certification and Accreditation, IT Security Project Management, Architecture and Engineering, and IT Security Policy development work for various government and private sector clients.

Project Management:

  • IBISKA has added several senior level project managers to our already large team of highly qualified professionals, most with PMP, Prince 2, or ITIL certifications and a portfolio of successfully completed projects. We continue to look for qualified individuals to meet the needs of our Project Management contract with Information Technology Services Branch of PWGSC.
  • Throughout the year we have completed projects for various levels of government (municipal, provincial, federal) and private sector clients in the area of: service transition, management and delivery; business transformation; product management; procurement and RFP development; technology planning and implementation; business requirements development; IT security planning and implementation; telecommunications; data center; facility moves; and PMO development.

Business Services:

  • In July 2010, IBISKA was awarded a supply arrangement with the City of Ottawa to support the City’s “Service Excellence Program”.
  • In addition, as a result of our contract with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for supply of Business Services, we have increased our team of Management Consultants and Business Architects and Analysts. We continue to recruit qualified business professionals to meet the needs of this contract.
  • Successfully completed projects have included: strategic planning; business requirements development and validation; business systems development; enterprise architecture; service improvement and performance measurement; e-business strategy; program assessment; architecture models; business process transformation, etc.
